Perth, Australia Workshop

Rusty and Joanne are serious but fun, dedicated instructors with one thing in mind: ‘Spreading the joys, traditions and culture of tango!’ They inform, exemplify, demonstrate and teach the technique that will become your tango foundation. What you get from tango will last you a lifetime. Tango is satisfying and rewarding, yet like all worthy endeavors it does require discipline and a proper foundation.
“There is a foundation that needs to underlie all of the styles of tango and if it is missing, it is readily apparent. Tango isn’t mysterious or so complicated you can’t grasp it, in the end tango is all about information, discipline, training and use. The techniques needed to dance good tango are not mysterious, a bit complex, but not unaccessible.” Rusty Cline
Jo & Rusty’s Workshops are all about providing the dancer with the skills and techniques for growth and development in establishing their own personal style. Their workshops are taught in a relaxed atmosphere with the focus on providing a progressive learning experience for the participants. They elaborate on musicality, floorcraft and foundational techniques while also providing socially executable figuras with an emphasis on the connection and movement between the partners.
