Argentine Tango Group Classes in Tucson
Thursday, 7-8pm Progressive Beginners
Thursday, 8-9pm Progressive Intermediate
Tuesday, 7:30-9pm Practica: Focused on investigating and experimenting with concepts, movements and ideas. This is a community-wide practica with the goal of supporting interactions and exchanges between dancers of all levels and styles. Come along and share an idea or ask questions. This is your time to integrate and develop what you have been learning!

Thursday’s Beginning and Intermediate classes are designed to progress the dancer from a starting point to being out on the dance floor as soon as possible. Each month we progress through a specific element and/or concept that can be used in a myriad of ways based on the music, the style and your dance mates. During the class we make sure to provide information on the history and codigos of Argentine Tango including spending time on knowing and understanding the music and how important it is to the structure of the Tango. Thursday classes are $5 each half hour slot and you are welcome to stay for as long as you like. If a beginner feels they are progressing comfortably then they are welcome to cross over into the Intermediate class.
