I love Argentine Tango. I love to dance it, to watch it, to listen to the music, to share it, to express it and to live it.

Argentine Tango was the jumping off point for my life and it happened here in Tucson, AZ. I was mostly shy, a bit of a loner, didn’t quite trust the people in my life, even the ones I loved the most. What started as curiosity turned into a passion that I had never before experienced. My confidence grew, my shyness is virtually gone. I now feel comfortable in a crowd and am eager and happy to meet new people and to share my tango embrace with complete strangers. And, I am now in a relationship with, in my opinion, one of the most loving people I know (yes, that would be Rusty).

In the process of learning Argentine Tango I have traveled to Buenos Aires where I studied with a variety of different instructors offering milonguero, salon and stage/choreography. I have attended countless classes at festivals, workshops and in privates all over the USA with a variety of master instructors that include Nito and Elba, Alex Krebs, Brigitta Winkler, Oscar Casas, Murat and Michelle Erdemsel, Graciela Gonzalez, Susana Miller, Daniela Pucci and Luis Bianchi, Ney Melo and Jennifer Bratt, Homer Ladas, and many others. Examined the styles of nuevo, salon and milonguero. Compared the attributes of choreography vs. improvisational performing and how they both are adaptable to the social dance floor.

Argentine Tango is not just a dance. It can be a way of living that can bring copious amounts of joy to an individual, a partnership, a group and a community. It will change the nature of your relationships providing you with opportunities to know yourself and understand what is working and not working in your life.

Most importantly, Argentine Tango is just downright the best time you will have personally and socially. It is fun!

My passion is to provide the opportunity for learning Argentine Tango in an innovative and supportive environment. Along with Rusty, our goal is to provide a solid foundation to enable you, the dancer, to progress, learn and grow at your rate and ability. We want you on the dance floor dancing with the local tango community in Tucson, AZ, and the world.

I challenge you: Try Argentine Tango. It could be what you have been looking for for so long. It could be what is missing in your life.
